Daniel is a Principal Environmental Scientist with more than 30 years of experience in environmental assessment, contaminated land management, and remediation of soil, groundwater, surface water, soil vapour, and air.
He has extensive project management experience, including client liaison, coordination of multidisciplinary teams of scientists and technical specialists, and delivery of complex environmental projects. His responsibilities have encompassed remediation strategy development and implementation, quality assurance and quality control, project planning, progress reporting, stakeholder engagement, client presentations, budget management, and subcontractor procurement and oversight.
Daniel has significant technical expertise in hydrogeology, soil vapour assessment, vapour intrusion risk management, and the auditing of vapour management systems. He also has extensive experience with emerging contaminants, including PFAS, and in the assessment and remediation of chlorinated solvent impacts, former gasworks sites and associated gasworks wastes. His experience includes the application of bioremediation technologies and the development of sustainable remediation strategies for complex contaminated land projects.
