Ben is an environmental scientist with over 27 years experience in both consulting and industry project management, predominantly in contamination assessment and remediation. Ben’s experience includes project management, community consultation and technical support for groundwater, soil and soil vapour assessments and remediation programs in South Australia, New South Wales and Queensland.
Ben has extensive experience in the assessment of a broad range of contaminants including fuels, oils, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, asbestos, pesticides, metals, acids and explosives and has managed the remediation of several complex sites with significant contamination issues requiring a broad range of remediation techniques including several ex situ thermal treatment and in situ bioremediation sites.
Ben also has extensive experience in areas including risk assessment, compliance, hydrogeological assessment, regulatory agency/audit liaison, due diligence and WHS.
